Hesseberg is our private family home, set among the forests of Sunnmøre on Norway's west coast. Built into the landscape overlooking the fjord and the Sunnmøre Alps, it is a place shaped by the forest, the changing weather and the view. Most of the year, it is simply home. On rare occasions, we make it available to others.

The first thing you notice is the silence — not the absence of sound, but the presence of nature.

Hesseberg is an old place name. “Hesse” is believed to refer to hazel — fitting for a hillside where hazel trees have grown for generations.
